The Charter Log fixes that, port by port. We are an independent editorial publication — not a booking engine and not a directory. We research a harbour, we publish what a trip there actually costs, what is biting each month, which licence you need, and how to choose between the boats tied up in it.

For charter operators and partners
Every port guide lists the boats working out of that harbour, whether or not they can be booked online. Where an operator takes online reservations, we link to their listing so readers can check availability and book with the captain directly.
Those links are affiliate links, and we say so on every page that carries one. It costs the reader nothing and it never changes which boats we include or how we rank them. Editorial decisions are made before any commercial one.
